The food and agriculture issues are closely intertwined. One policy overtly hooks into the other.
For the City of Aalst, the team Atelier Romain - Let us - ILVO - VLM worked on an integrated agricultural policy plan. With this plan, the city takes the time to develop a clear and above all action-oriented policy that meets the expectations, needs and bottlenecks of the agricultural sector. Short supply chain and local food policy are also important parts of this process. Let us was responsible here for the pathways and action points.
The end result is a policy plan that provides both the vision and very concrete action points, priorities and budget estimates as a starting point to get to work with.
