Making the protein shift is one of our major challenges. More plant-based food on our plate. And thus making a difference for our climate and our health. 'A bean for A' tempts the people of Antwerp with tasty dishes. We set up local chains with chickpeas, lentils, and beans. And we ensure more plant-based dishes on the menu in Antwerp's hospitality industry, neighbourhood restaurants, and corporate catering. We connect chefs with local farmers and highlight the protein transition at the Protein Festival.
The project hits two beans with one stone: it is good for the environment and our health. And we raise awareness that taste, health, and sustainability go hand in hand!
The initiative comes from Mosquito In The Room. Together with their partners Let us, BioPolder, Rurant and Sense, they are working on a sustainable protein transition in Antwerp. And are receiving support for this from the Flemish Government.
