Local4Food

A local food policy is more than what is on our plates. As Local Food Policy Accelerator, Local4Food supports cities and municipalities to develop smart, social and sustainable food strategies. Local governments are the key to policy close to citizens, producers, organisations and entrepreneurs - at school, in care and in their neighbourhood.

Through inspiring activities such as regional food days, online labs and tailor-made advice, we build a dynamic and nurturing network around local food policy. From setting up a food strategy to encouraging a more sustainable purchasing policy, from action around healthy school meals to mapping food environments: together, we turn our ambitions for a resilient food system into concrete action.

Local4Food is a project funded by the Flemish Government and supporting the Flemish food policy Go4Food.
